Expansion of the machine shop with a new grinding machine

NORMTEILWERK ROBERT BLOHM has invested in a new grinding machine from the company Klingelnberg, thus opening new possibilities.

As a manufacturer of special parts according to customer drawings, BLOHM's strengths lie in the production of rotationally symmetrical components made from steel and stainless steel.

The modern turning shop, our own hardening shop and grinding shop with internal and external cylindrical grinding enables the implementation of a wide range of customer requirements.

By purchasing this new grinding machine, BLOHM is now in the position to offer its customers, in addition to cylindrical grinding also the grinding of gear teeth and worm profiles (also rotor profiles and rotor shafts).

• In screw pumps, liquids are moved at high pressure along worm screws (high-pressure pumps)
  
  
• In machine tools, they enable the transport of coolants 
  
  
• In compressors, they serve as compressor shafts to compress the air
  
  
• In volumetric meters, rotor shafts, as an auxiliary device to a pump enables the flow rate of a medium to be precisely determined
   
• Rotor shafts are used in dispensing pumps in order to be able to carry out the most precise dispensation.
