In order to be able to cope with the increasing number of orders, BLOHM has invested in two new grinding machines from the Swiss quality machine manufacturer STUDER. The models S33 (CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine) and CT550 (CNC internal and external cylindrical grinding machine) open new possibilities to further expand the capabilities and capacities for internal and external grinding.
Turned parts such as shafts can be precisely machined up to a length of 1,000 mm. Due to a possible workpiece weight of maximum 150 kg, large sized components can also be worked. The optimised grinding head on the S33 enables even complex workpieces to be ground in one setup. Thus can complicated turned parts and special parts be easily machined.
The two new production machines expand the standard parts machine shop so that now 8 STUDER precision grinding machines are available. |
