NORMTEILWERK ROBERT BLOHM has been supplying Veigel GmbH + Co KG - Europe's leading manufacturer of dual controls for driving school vehicles and innovative vehicle equipment for people with physical disabilities - for many years.
Veigel trust in reliable suppliers - including NORMTEILWERK ROBERT BLOHM - to fulfil its high quality standards. BLOHM has been supplying customised castors for Veigel's driving school pedals since 2012. This so-called double operation - an invention of company founder Wilhelm Veigel from the 1920s - can now be used in almost all vehicle types, from cars and lorries to buses. The rollers ensure low friction between the carrier bolt and the slotted lever and therefore safe, precise operation.
Since 2019, Veigel has also been sourcing special throttle shafts from BLOHM for hand controls in the Rehamotive segment. These transmit the driving impulse from the handle to the vehicle electronics - a key component for barrier-free driving. In total, the Rehamotive portfolio comprises around 350 products that can transfer all leg functions to the hands - including multifunctional buttons and ergonomic design.
The collaboration between Veigel and BLOHM is based on shared quality standards, technical expertise and a partnership of equals. This results in high-quality components ‘Made in Germany’ that make an important contribution to safety, inclusion and modern mobility.
